Carol’s Amazing Gluten Free Flour

Post image for Carol’s Amazing Gluten Free Flour

Do you want some FREE gluten-free flour?

Not just any gluten-free flour but really good gluten-free flour?

Gluten-free flour that is NOT gritty?  That has NO cardboard or beanie taste?  Gluten-free flour that tastes and bakes just like regular wheat flour?

Flour that can make stuff like this?

gluten-free-banana-nut-bread.jpg

Gluten-free banana nut bread.

gluten-free-sugar-cookies.jpg

Gluten-free cookies.
And even this?

gluten-free-raspberry-tart.jpg

Gluten-free pie and tart crust?

Yes?

That’s what I thought.

In celebration of my flour, Carol’s Amazing All Purpose Gluten Free Flour, making its television debut on Daytime today I am going to be sending out a whole bunch of 2 pound bags of my flour.

flour-on-daytime.jpg

Oh and I almost forgot.  I have some pretty big news.   I am now going to be doing regular monthly gluten-free segments on Daytime!  Daytime is a nationally syndicated morning show that airs in over 100 cities nationwide.  This is such a huge step for us!

daytime-talent.jpg

Although the gluten intolerant makeup an estimated 20 percent of the population we have been sorely neglected when it comes to cooking on TV.  Yes, there are cooking shows about almost every ethnicity around, there are cooking shows about low-carb and low-fat but gluten-free?  I have yet to see one and let me tell you, I watch a lot of cooking shows!

The forward thinking producer of Daytime thought it was time to change that and asked me to be a regular.

So this is just one more step in making gluten-free mainstream and I think that calls for celebration!

Ok so now back to that free flour.

I have a limited amount of bags to send out so leave me a comment or send me an email at simplygf@gmail.com (make sure I have a way to contact you) and I will randomly pick a bunch of names, email the winners for their address and send out bags of flour.  Make sure you do this by Sunday, July 25th, 2010.

After you get the gluten free flour make any recipe you want with it, blog about it or send me a photo along with what you think.  (You do not have to have a blog to enter.)

Deal?

Simply...Gluten-Free DessertsSimply…Gluten-Free Desserts is now available, with over 135 recipes not featured in my blog.

Available at bookstores including Barnes & Noble, Borders, Powells, Books-a-Million and Amazon. You can get it also HERE.

“I can now have recipes I know I can count on for every Dessert and Breakfast occasion! I’m thrilled!” – A. M.

“I am amazed! This recipe is BETTER then the ‘regular-with-gluten’ recipe! Thanks so much, Carol” – V. P.

“I totally love your gluten free recipes - they have solved my love for desserts.” – F.R.

And I must admit …. when I heard you say "Gluten-free flour that is NOT gritty? That has NO cardboard or beanie taste? Gluten-free flour that tastes and bakes just like regular wheat flour" >>> I thought that this must have been impossible! :)

Those pictures are making my mouth water! I'm usually very skeptical about 'all purpose' gluten free flour, but I'm very curious about yours and would love to try it out.

And, congrats on Daytime! A big win for the GF community too :)

Bummer…looks like the show is not on in my area. I'll have to see if I can watch it online.

Now NON-gritty GF flour? Count me in! I'm definitely interested, and even if I don't win, I'd be interested in purchasing it in the future (once I run out of what I've got…which is not awful, but meh…)!

Heather July 15, 2010 at 9:29 pm

Congratulations! I am very glad that you are starting what I hope is a new trend in good gluten free cooking shows. I need to try the non-gritty, normal flavor gluten free flour, for sure.

Oh that's fantastic! My poor mother in law has been having a terrible time since we went gf! She'll be watching for sure!! Oh and a bag of flour that she could substitute cup for cup with no mixing would bless her. I'm blessed that she wants to try, for it's really only me that is gf!
Good for you for the show, and one step forward for all of us. :-))

Those pictures look so delicious. I would love to try your flour. It would be great to use a flour mix that already has xanthan gum pre-mixed and one that does not taste gritty, etc. I think I would make banana nut bread first!

I enjoy reading your blog and look forward to your recipes!!

I'd love , love, love to try out your GF four. I have a group of us that are baking up a storm in LA and since I am here, I'd love it to be sent here. I'd love to try it in a few of the wheat conversion recipes and then we can send you a few of the recipes. Sound like a terrific mix! Tina Turbin

Oh congrats – that's wonderful news about the show. Tasty gluten fee flour hhmmm I'm skeptical. How does it hold up. I hate that gluten free stuff just about falls apart one you cut it. I'd love a flour that produces stuff that isn't crumbly
