Bread Maker Give Away!

Post image for Bread Maker Give Away!

by Carol Kicinski on August 5, 2009

Is there anything better than eating freshly baked bread? YES! Waking up to the enticing aroma of freshly baked bread wafting through the air, eating it and having done very little work to get it.

I am GIVING AWAY a Cusinart CBK 200 Bread Maker.

1558.jpg

For FREE! Yep, that’s right, just giving it away. And no, it is not a crusty, old used one, it’s brand spanking new. I will even pay the shipping to get it to you!

The Cusinart CBK 200 has some really cool features including a 12 hour delay, convenction fan, 10 preset menu options including exclusive low carb, gluten-free and rustic artisan dough settings. Apparently it you can even make jam in it.

What do you have to do to get it? Simple. Just leave me a comment on this post before midnight Eatern Standard Time August 21st, 2009 and I will randomly pick a winner.

Why am I doing it? Just cuz I am really nice and in a great mood!

The wonderful folks over at Daytime apparently liked me because they are having me back to do another gluten-free cooking segment! I will tape it at the end of August. So I just feel like celebrating a little and when I celebrate I like to have others celebrate with me. And I like to give gifts.

Anyone can enter, so just leave me a comment and good luck!

xo,

carol

Bread Maker? Giveaway? 3 of my favourite words! A breadmaker was on my Christmas list… but my family didn't understand why I "didn't just buy bread at the store" like they did- so alas, no breadmaker, yet! (I guess this gluten-free thing just doesn't make sense to some people!) I'm still hand making it- it sometimes works, it sometimes doesn't. THANKS for the giveaway!!!

Quite honestly, before I was diagnosed with celiac, I pooh-poohed bread machines because I was all about kneading bread by hand. Now, having made GF bread only a few times, I can see that a bread maker (especially one with a GF setting!) would be very very useful! I would love to win this prize. Thanks for holding this giveaway and for your great recipes (can't wait to try the apricot almond tart)!

My daughter was recently diagnosed with Celiac Disease. A bread maker would really be good for her to learn how to use. This will be a challenge for her while she is away at college. This is my first time on your website. I think it will be very helpful for both my daughter and me. Thanks for taking the time to educate us!

Wow, my son would feel safer if I had a good breadmaker. My first and last attempt at GF bread was so hard he cut his finger on the peaks that formed. Good laugh, dangerous bread.

Tossing my name in the hat for the breadmaker. Recently gluten free, and really struggling with what to eat. No sandwiches? Sigh.

Love your website and following you on Twitter also. When I get discouraged, your Twitters remind me that there is a website full of encouraging information and a whole community of people who can help each other deal with our gluten-free way of life. My daughter was diagnosed long before I was, and then I realized why I had been feeling so badly for so long. Thank you for sharing with us.

Wow! Fancy. I'd love a bread machine. Maybe I'd put it in my bedroom so I could be slightly awakened by the mixing process, then finally rise at the smell of fresh bread. No?! Well, as always, I adore your site and can never decide whether I am more inspired by the food, or the food -photography-! And I've tried many recipes as well :)

I have just the recipe I'd love to try in this bread maker! My DH, whom I bake the GF bread for, decided to use a belt sander in the basement without moving my current bread maker away first. Suffice it to say, after I "thought" I had chiseled all of the sawdust from the surface and cleaned out the heating vents, I had a big plume of jet black smoke (that smelled oddly of a campfire) emanating from my bread maker!

I've never really been what one would consider a "lucky" person, but who knows… maybe this is my time. :)
