Ingredients

  • 1 9-pound spiral cut ham
  • ½ cup apple juice
  • ½ cup maple syrup
  • ½ cup packed brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • ½ teaspoon ground cloves

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 300ºF. Line a rimmed baking sheet with foil. Place the ham on the foil and then cover the whole pan with foil. Bake for 1½ hours (or 10 minutes per pound).
  • In a saucepan over medium-high heat, combine the apple juice, maple syrup, brown sugar, mustard, and cloves. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes.
  • After the ham has baked for 1½ hours, remove it from the oven and remove the foil covering the pan. Increase the oven temperature to 400ºF. Pour half of the glaze over the ham and return to the oven for 10 minutes, uncovered. Pour the remaining glaze over the ham and bake for another 10 minutes, uncovered. Transfer to a serving platter and serve hot, warm, or at room temperature.
