Detox Green Smoothie
While greens might be the farthest thing from your mind, this smoothie will help you recover quickly. It’s packed with vitamins and minerals, as well as electrolytes and liver-flushing ingredients, to help rid your body of toxins. It’s also a cinch to whip up and you can take it with you as you race out the door.
- 1 cup fresh or frozen pineapple
- ½ medium cucumber chopped
- 1 cup spinach
- 1 cup kale
- ¼ cup parsley
- Juice of 1 lime
- ½-1 inch piece of fresh ginger
- ½ teaspoon turmeric
- 1 tablespoon almond butter or other nut/seed butter of choice
- 1-2 cups coconut water
- Ice as needed
Add all ingredients to a blender and blend on high until smooth and creamy. Add ice, as needed, to reach your desired consistency.
