I know, I know – I said “refreshing cocktail,” so why does this one have the word “sour” in the title? Well, grapefruit juice is a funny thing. It is a bit sour, yes, but it is also quite refreshing on a warm day. This margarita is an amazing twist to your basic margarita and is so much fun to drink.

Sour Grapefruit Margarita Recipe

Grapefruit juice is a bit sour but refreshing on a warm day. This margarita is an amazing twist to your basic margarita and is so much fun to drink.

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces silver tequila
  • ounces elderflower liqueur
  • 3 ounces grapefruit juice
  • ½ ounce lime juice
  • ½ ounce simple syrup
  • ½ ounce triple sec
  • ½ cup ice

Instructions

  • In a blender, add all of the ingredients. Blend until the ice is completely blended and no chunks of ice remain. Pour into a salted or non-salted glass and enjoy!
