Products for inflammation and pain

Inflammation is at the root of many health ailments. From arthritis to digestive and intestinal diseases, like colitis, to chronic pain and fatigue, inflammation is calling the shots and taking over bodies everywhere. It’s time we fight back with as many anti-inflammatory foods and supplements that are available to us. Here are three of my favorites:

Ancient Apothecary Turmeric Capsules

Ancient Apothecary Turmeric
Straight out of Dr. Axe’s medicine cabinet, this is a powerful and must-try product for those looking to fight inflammation. Curcumin, the potent and important part of turmeric, has a 4,000-year track record of health benefits. Studies of this compound are plentiful, but to summarize, curcumin helps manage oxidative and inflammatory conditions, arthritis, exercise-induced muscle soreness, and much more. I once heard that curcumin is more powerful than the active ingredient in most NSAID pain relievers, but don’t quote me on that. The research is out there, so check out if it’s an option for any inflammation you may be experiencing.

Ancient Apothecary’s Turmeric Capsules is a full-spectrum blend with other extracts like ashwagandha. Learn more here.

Paleo Pro Grass-Fed Bone Broth Collagen + Turmeric

Paleo Pro Bone Broth Collagen
Turmeric is back at it in this product, but it’s paired with bone broth collagen in Paleo Pro’s delicious blend – available in plain, cacao, and vanilla. Collagen is found in nearly every nook and cranny in the body, from bones to skin to muscles and everything in between. Studies have shown it may have benefits that lead to pain relief, reduced stiffness, and improved function for people with osteoarthritis. For people with rheumatoid arthritis, studies have been mixed but are promising.

Personally, I feel pretty great when I take collagen. It seems to make a difference in the appearance and feel of my skin, so I can assume it may also be doing some great things inside my body – reducing inflammation being one of them. Learn more here.

PlusCBD OilPlusCBD Oil

CBD has become a hot product in the health industry, particularly over the past 5 years. People are learning to differentiate between CBD and THC and discovering the many potential benefits CBD has on nearly every system in the body. One study published in the Future Medicinal Chemistry journal concluded that cannabinoids (CBD) suppress inflammatory response and have been shown to protect people with multiple sclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis, colitis and hepatitis from further disease development through CBD’s anti-inflammatory properties.

New studies showing new benefits are sprouting up all the time, but it’s pretty clear that CBD has excellent anti-inflammatory properties, and PlusCBD Oil is the gold standard in hemp-derived CBD products. Learn more here.

Consult a medical professional for advice on your particular ailments and to discuss any possible interactions with current medications you may be taking.
