Gluten-Free Super Quick Keto Mexican Chocolate Mousse

This Valentine’s Day dessert is exceptional in so many ways. It’s quick and simple, decadent, and as a bonus it is sugar-free and keto-friendly. They say love is about sacrifice and compromise, but when it comes to this recipe (which you’re sure to fall in love with) that is not the case! You can have everything you want in a dessert and leave the sugar behind with Swerve.

I hope you spend this Valentine’s Day with someone you love and share this delicious chocolate mousse with them. But if you’re rolling solo this year, this dessert is guilt-free enough that you can help yourself to both portions!
- 1¼ cup heavy whipping cream divided
- ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder sifted plus more for dusting
- ¼ cup Swerve Confectioners
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon chili powder
- Cinnamon sticks for garnish if desired
Whip the cream until soft peaks form. Remove a couple tablespoons to garnish the mousse. Add the remaining ingredients and whip until stiff but not dry peaks form – do not over beat!
Dollop half the reserved cream on top of each mousse and dust with a little cocoa powder. Garnish with a cinnamon stick, if desired.
