Every year I host a holiday cocktail party. This year I had some challenges when planning the menu. Long ago I figured out the gluten free aspect but this year I have multiple food sensitivities and eating preferences to deal with. I never want someone to come to my home and not be able to find something to eat.
This is not your mama’s onion dip – you know the one I am talking about, where you mix a packet of onion soup mix with some sour cream. First of all this dip is gluten-free, dairy free and yes, even vegan.
There are times when we have to whip up something fabulous on the spur of the moment for unexpected guests, spontaneous celebrations or just because you’re hungry and want something a little extra special.
