How to Cut a Pineapple

1Lay the pineapple on its side on a cutting board and cut off the top & bottom, about ½inch thickness each end.

 

2Stand pineapple up on its bottom end and cutting from top to bottom, remove the skin all the way around, following the contour of the fruit.

3Remove any remaining eyes with the tip of a potato peeler.

 

4Place pineapple again on its side and cut slices, about ½inch thick. With the tip of a paring knife cut around the core in each slice to create rings.
