The World’s Best Brussels Sprouts

Course: Side Dish
Cuisine: American
Servings: 8 servings
Calories: 102kcal
Author: Stephanie O'Dea

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds Brussels sprouts
  • 4 tablespoons butter , melted
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • ½ cup water

Instructions

  • Use a 4-quart slow cooker.
  • Wash and trim the ends off of each sprout and cut in half. Toss into the cooker.
  • Add the butter, mustard, salt, pepper, and water. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or on high for 2-3 hours.
  • Stir well to distribute the sauce before serving.

Notes

The sprouts around the edge of the cooker get brown and a bit crispy on the outer edge. This is good and not something to worry about!
