Ah … corn dogs. The one food that brings most people back to childhood, allowing us to reminisce of a carefree time when food on a stick was all we needed to be content for the day. Nowadays our tastes as adults might be a bit more complex, but there’s still nothing quite like a corn dog to brighten the day.

Going gluten-free often means you have to give up certain foods that are just hard to find in gluten-free varieties – but luckily times are changing and gluten-free varieties of traditionally gluten-filled foods are becoming more readily available. This is the case with gluten-free corn dogs! Yes – you read that right!

Foster Farms ImageFoster Farms, a name many have come to know and trust in the world of poultry, now offers Gluten Free Corn Dogs as well as Gluten Free Breast Nuggets and Gluten Free Breast Strips – all certified GF by the Gluten Intolerance Group. The nuggets and strips are fabulous! But the real star of the show, at least for me, is the corn dogs.

Make with chicken franks and dipped twice in honey-crunchy batter, these corn dogs are delish and taste just like the corn dogs many of us remember having as children.

Foster Farms ImageIf nostalgia isn’t enough to make you want these corn dogs, knowing that Foster Farms is certified by the American Humane Association might just do the trick! What this means is that the company takes proper care of the chickens raised on its farm, to the point where they can pass a rigorous, comprehensive audit that covers 200 separate items including diet, living conditions and natural behaviors. Foster Farms had to prove these conditions are maintained on its farms and ranches 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Buying Foster Farms products can allow you to rest assured you are buying chicken that was humanely raised.

So the next time you’re feeling the craving for corn dogs, chicken nuggets or chicken strips – or perhaps your children want these tasty meals – reach for Foster Farms gluten-free products.
