Some of the best gluten free brands are those created by people who have celiac disease or gluten sensitivity or who have a family member who does. They’re in the kitchen often, working with gluten free ingredients, and they end up being the ones who can put together an amazing line of GF products. One such example of this is Gluten Free Nation, a company that produces breads, buns, muffins, pecan pie, and cookies that are all Certified Gluten Free and made in a dedicated gluten free facility.

The owner of Gluten Free Nation, Randi Markowitz, spent six years perfecting her gluten free bakery items before they hit the shelves. They are now in many popular retail stores like HEB, Safeway, Kroger and Albertsons and are available online.

My favorite product is the popover dinner rolls, which taste amazing and are great for dinner parties where you may have guests who are skeptical of gluten free foods (they’ll change their minds, trust me!). I also love their lemon pound cake, and their gluten- and dairy-free hot dog and hamburger buns are top notch! The flavor and texture of all the Gluten Free Nation products that I’ve tried are superior and you can definitely get a sense of the love and attention that went into creating each and every product.

Another great thing about Gluten Free Nation is the fact that they do food service, meaning their products are available in schools, retirement communities, assisted living facilities, restaurants, hotels, hospitals and more. When there are brands that you know and trust in public places and private businesses, it helps to create a sense of security for those who must eat gluten free, and I applaud Gluten Free Nation for making their products available in this way.
