When’s the last time you were able to have a Hostess-style cupcake? Or chocolate-covered cake balls? It’s been a while, right? Being gluten-free often means having to forgo the sweets of your past … but not anymore, thanks to Better Bites Bakery.

Better Bites Bakery makes a-ma-zing cake balls in chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry; chocolate chip cookie dough bites; cupcakes that resemble the taste and texture of Hostess cupcakes; chocolate chip-studded brownie; and a one-of-a-kind chocolate layer cake. ALL of which are gluten-free! They are made in a dedicated gluten-free kitchen and certified by the GFCO. Not just that, but all of their products are free of multiple food allergens, including dairy, soy, eggs, peanuts, and most tree nuts (some products contain coconut which is classified as a tree nut). All products except those with sprinkles are corn-free, as well.

When I love most about these products is that they taste like those sweet treats we all probably had (and loved!) as children, but they use high-quality ingredients, no GMOs, and as I mentioned, they are very allergy friendly. These are the kinds of treats you could feed to your children and their friends and it would help your children not feel so “different” because of their food allergies. It would feel like a “normal” treat for the non-allergic kids and they wouldn’t even notice that they are allergen-free.

In fact, inclusion is part of the reason this company started. The founder, Leah Lopez, strives to make foods that are just as good, if not better, than the “real” thing after her son, Gabriel, was diagnosed with anaphylactic allergies to chicken, eggs, and dairy.
