Recommends: Kize Bars
Over the years, I’ve tried more bars then I can count. Bars dipped in chocolate, bars dotted with fruit, protein bars, energy bars, fruit bars, dairy-free bars, nut-free bars … you get the idea! That said, for a bar to get my attention and for me to want to actually go and buy that bar for my own regular consumption, it has to be pretty special in my eyes. And the Kize Bar is just that.
These bars are excellent in so many ways. First and foremost, they use minimal ingredients – anywhere from 4 to 8 ingredients total, and they are all real food ingredients and things you know, can pronounce, and don’t need to Google to find out what they are! For example, their Almond Butter variety has premium almond butter, raw honey, gluten-free rolled oats, grass-fed whey protein isolate, and unsweetened coconut, and their Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip variety has premium peanut butter, raw honey, egg whites, oats, dates, and cacao nibs. They are gluten-free (of course), non-GMO, and many varieties are also dairy-free.
The next thing I love about these bars is that they taste like a dessert, making healthy snacking a real treat! My favorite is the Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip – there’s nothing better than that classic combination.
And last but certainly not least, I love that 10% of all Kize sales goes toward helping feed those in need. The good people at Kize go on mission trips to Haiti and do other wonderful things to help hungry or needy people and I think that is truly amazing. Good flavor, good nutrition, made by good people … that’s a winning combination!
