If you didn’t sneak a couple bites of raw cookie dough as a kid, then you were missing out! Missing out on potential food poisoning but also missing out on a delicious treat! Nowadays, you no longer have to take the risk of eating raw cookie dough filled with unbaked eggs. Instead, you can have an edible cookie dough that can be eaten as-is or baked into warm, gooey cookies.
BeReal is a gluten-free, dairy-free, egg-free, and soy-free edible cookie dough that is made with organic, non-GMO, plant-based, and fair trade certified ingredients. It’s cookie dough from a company that cares about the environment and about you. Made by a nurse practitioner who decided to heal herself through diet and nutrition, this treat wasn’t initially designed to be eaten raw … it just so happened that the recipes she developed for her healthier cookie dough ended up without ingredients, like eggs, that need to be cooked. What a happy turn of events, huh?!
This cookie dough is unlike any other because it can be stored, unopened, for 2 months in the pantry. Once you open it, in can last 3 months in the refrigerator. It’s preservative free, too!
BeReal doughs come in Good Sugar Cookie, Holiday Gingerbread, Oatmeal Cranberry, Signature Chocolate Chunk, Cacao Fudge Chip, and Cape Cod Cranberry Chocolate Chunk. I like all the flavors I tried, but if I had to pick I’d say the Cape Cod Cranberry Chocolate Chunk is my fave!
