Recommends: Kate’s Real Food Bars
You can never have too many bars if you’re an on-the-go type of person. Whether you’re jumping between work and school, running errands, scurrying off to the gym, or going on an outdoor adventure, there are always plenty of times where a good-quality, gluten-free bar will come in handy. I always have at least one box of bars stocked in my pantry, and this month I’ve been on a Kate’s Real Food Bars kick!
Kate’s Real Food Bars are organic, non-GMO, gluten-free, soy-free, and Kosher. They contain raw ingredients but aren’t fully raw and all but the Tram Bar are dairy-free. They are sweetened with raw organic honey from a company called GloryBee.
These bars are different from others because they are thicker and denser, and each bite is an experience of distinct textures and flavors rather than one homogenous mix like some other bars on the market. At first, I thought the line about each bite being distinct was just a marketing statement but after trying a few flavors of the bars, I have to say that it is entirely true. The first bite was good, the next bite was better and tasted different, the third bite also had a different combination of flavors and a different crunch. You’ll know what I mean when you try these! They are far from a boring bar. They are crunchy, chewy, sweet, satisfying, and full of delicious flavor.
Kate’s Real Food Bars are available in Peanut Butter Dark Chocolate (Grizzly Bar), Peanut Butter Milk Chocolate (Tram Bar), Peanut Butter Hemp & Flax (Stash Bar), Dark Chocolate Cherry & Almond (Handle Bar), Lemon Coconut (Bivy Bar), and Mango Coconut (Tiki Bar). The Dark Chocolate Cherry & Almond is my favorite (and their most popular)!
