Instructions
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, maple syrup, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt. Cut the bread into 1-inch cubes. Add the bread to the egg/milk mixture. Stir gently to combine. Let sit for 30 minutes, stirring gently occasionally.
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
Pour the bread mixture into a large cast iron skillet or 9x12-inch baking dish and gently press down with a spatula. Top with the melted butter and bake for 55 minutes or until golden brown and set. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving. Serve with extra maple syrup.
