While the pasta is cooking, prepare the pesto. Put basil, kale, garlic, nutritional yeast, hemp seeds, salt, and pepper into a food processor. Process until ground, then add lemon juice. Secure lid and slowly drizzle in oil and water until pesto comes together. If it seems dry, add additional water or oil, 1 tablespoon at a time, until you’ve reached the desired consistency. Set aside until pasta is ready.
