This indoor barbecue recipe gets its smokiness from cinnamon and paprika. When they are cooked together all day they take on a smoky, comforting flavor.
Use a 6-quart slow cooker. Put the ribs directly into your slow cooker insert. In a small bowl, combine all of the spices and the brown sugar. Rub this mixture evenly over all sides of the ribs.
Do not add water. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or until the meat is tender.
