Chocolate Ice Cream

With just 5 ingredients and an ice cream maker, deliciously rich and creamy (and easy!) chocolate ice cream can be yours all summer long.

5 Ingredient Chocolate Ice Cream


¼ cup (packed) pitted dates
1 (13.5-ounce) can full fat coconut milk
½ cup unsweetened almond milk
1/3 cup raw cacao powder (or unsweetened cocoa powder)
¼ cup honey
Pinch of sea salt


Place the dates in a small bowl and cover with hot water. Soak for 30 minutes. Drain and add to a blender with the remaining ingredients. Blend on high until creamy and smooth.

Transfer to an ice cream maker and freeze according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Store in an airtight container in the freezer.

Serves 4
